Providence, Rhode Island
Domingo Santiago, known affectionately as Mingo by family and friends, passed away on August 15, 2026. Born on December 20, 1962, in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, Domingo later made his life in Providence, Rhode Island, after spending some years in Springfield, MA. A funny, loving, and generous spirit, his dedicated work in landscaping, specifically at a local golf course, reflected his deep love for nature and the outdoors.
Domingo was a cherished son to Juan Santiago and Angelina Sanchez, who have preceded him in death. He was a loving brother to Ambrosio Santiago, Benjamin Santiago, and Marisol Curbelo. He was a dedicated and loving father to his son, Miguel Santiago, and an adoring Uncle to Nancy Santiago. His family was his pride and joy, and his generosity and love for them knew no bounds. His sense of humor, often leading to fits of laughter, will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
In the words of Albert Einstein, "The value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive." Domingo embodied this sentiment by always putting others before himself, and his legacy will forever be remembered in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
We invite you to share your memories of Domingo, upload photos, and celebrate his life on his memorial page. His spirit lives on in the memories we share, and in the laughter and love he brought into our lives.
