In Loving Memory of Antoine “Tony” Charles Bronner November 24, 1956 – April 27, 2026 Antoine “Tony” Charles Bronner, of Belchertown, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. He leaves behind a life marked by trials, resilience, love, a generous spirit, an affection for stray animals and an interesting sense of humor that brought smiles and shakes of the head to those around him. He will be most remembered for having a deep devotion to his family. Tony was born on November 24, 1956, to Marilyn F. (Fluerent) Howard and Lawrence J. Bronner Sr. He spent much of his life in Belchertown and Ware, where he was known for his kind heart, unique character and appreciation for life’s simple treasures. Tony loved life and cherished his family and friends; keeping mementos from them safe over the years. He loved to banter and earned himself a variety of nicknames including Bones, Bonehead and Auntie Tony of which he was proud and always brought a smile to his face. He worked at Tolpa’s and loved rummaging through the salvage yard. He was known for his hardworking nature and his passion for collecting unique and interesting items. Tony had a gift for seeing value where others did not and found joy in objects many would overlook. In his younger years, Tony could often be found wearing a lion belt buckle, lion T-shirt or his leather jacket, eating pizza at Apollos and working on motorcycles and cars that allowed his nieces and nephews to experience the thrill of carefree fun. As he grew older, he came to enjoy the peace and quiet of his home, a strong cup of coffee, visits from loved ones, a McDonald’s cheeseburger and a good movie. He appreciated the small, meaningful moments with his family more than most people realized. Tony was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence Bronner Sr. and Marilyn (Fluerent) Howard; his stepfather, Nathan “Tex” Howard; his sisters, Lorraine Bachand and Doreen Fuller; his brothers, Norman Bronner, Timothy Bronner, and Ken Howard; as well as his nieces, Erin Summerlin and Jeila Rahimi; his nephews, Lyle Bachand and Timothy N. Bronner. He is survived by his siblings: Lawrence Bronner Jr. and wife Stasia, Gayann Bronner, George Howard and wife Karin, Norman’s wife Nancy (McConnell) Bronner, Nathan Corey Howard and wife Laura, Amy (Howard) Rahimi and husband Hossein and Ken’s wife Sue Howard. Along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Linda Manor, the Cooley Dickinson Hospice team as well as Gayann Bronner, George Howard, Karin Howard and Brandy Fuller for their loving care and devotion during Tony’s final days. The family plans to celebrate Tony’s life in a private family gathering.
